Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood were the most memorable shows on when we were kids, and Sesame Street is still very popular yet today. Public television has been overlooked by many because of the abundance of cable and satellite television channels, but by spreading the word about the quality, diverse, educational programming offered by public television, continued sponsorship is on the rise. After all, if there were no members or corporate sponsors, public television would cease to be. Support your local public television station, and sit down and enjoy true quality programming at its best.
