Ancestry.com Library Edition (in-library use only) contains an extensive amount of genealogical data, such as vital, census, immigration, and military records.

Heritage Quest Online (home users) Hertiage Quest is a genealogy database in which you can search United States Census records, thousands of family histories, the PERSI database of periodical articles, and pension records from the Revolutionary War.  Home users, please enter your library card number.

Massachusetts Archives Search the collection database, Index to Passenger Manifests, and Index to Vital Records

New England Historic Genealogical Society contains a free genealogical database, as well as helpful resources to help inform your research. They also have a library at 99 Newbury St, Boston.

Massachusetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics   This department processes requests for birth, marriage and death records in MA.

South Shore Genealogical Society Meetings are at the John Curtis Free Library at 1:30PM on the second Saturday of the month from September through June.

Internet Archive Collection of digitized books on Hanover history available online.
