In September of 1887 the Selectmen of Hanover received a letter from Mr. John Curtis of Boston offering a donation of 1800 books to begin a library.
Any Hanover resident, with proof of address (license, mail, etc.), may apply for a library card. Patrons can use their cards at any OCLN library. Children ages 3 and over are eligible for a card.
