These are often called 3 day bags. There's plenty of room for 3 ring binder shortly after that. Of course, if you only have a few simple papers, and not lots and lots of stuff, 3 ring binders might really be more than you need. I can't think what it's called, but I got what is essentially a small leather folder with room for pencils, pens, and a few papers, which is more than sufficient for taking my writing around to conferences.
