In nonleague action, Cam grieve went 4-for-4 with a double and four RBI as Braintree (15-5) defeated Hingham 12-5. … Evan Hebblethwaite allowed a pair of hits and struck out nine in a complete-game effort as Hanover (10-8) blanked Marshfield, 1-0.
Tommy Sullivan was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI as Plymouth South (15-5) defeated North Quincy 13-7 in the Patriot League.
BOYS LACROSSE
In a nonleague contest, Caleb and Avery Richardson scored five goals a piece to pace Sandwich to a 17-4 win over Barnstable. … Owen Balfour had three goals and four assists, while Jack Howard added eight goals and an assist as Mashpee defeated Bourne, 15-6.
GIRLS LACROSSE
In the Cape & Islands League, Lucy Mawn tallied eight goals as Monomoy edged Dennis-Yarmouth 13-12.
In the Bay State Conference, Megan Doyle finished with four goals as Weymouth defeated Needham for the first time in school history, 7-5.
SOFTBALL
In Middlesex League action, Analise Grady finished 3-for-4 with five RBI while Jackie Malley added three RBI to lead Reading past Wilmington, 15-2.
Bella Fernald went 4-for-4 with her eighth home run of the season and five RBI as Bedford defeated Newton South 13-4 in a Dual County League Tier 1 semifinal.
GIRLS TENNIS
After winning the EIL title for the second straight year, Winsor took the next step and captured the NEPSAC B Class Championship for the first time in school history with a 5-1 victory over Hopkins School. Head coach Maria DeMarco earned Coach of the Year in the process.

Former BC quarterback Dennis Grosel and his company, Vantage Sports, are running a football clinic on June 18 in Boston. BC Eagles Phil Jurkovec and Zay Flowers will be at the clinic.
